How Bilt Rite Insulation collects, uses, and protects information on this website, in the course of our work, and in our internal Google Workspace application.
Bilt Rite Insulation LP ("BRI", "we", "us") is a commercial and industrial mechanical insulation contractor based in Austin, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through biltriteinsulation.com and in the ordinary course of our business, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It also covers BRI Automation, the internal Google Workspace application our staff use for office work.
If you submit the quote request form, we receive what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, a description of the project, and, if you choose to answer, how you heard about us. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence and the contact details you provide. When we work with customers, vendors, and subcontractors, we collect the business contact, project, and billing information needed to bid, perform, and invoice the work.
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not currently run analytics. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request data (browser type, pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font files. When you submit the quote form, the IP address the request came from is included in the notification we receive.
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, plan and perform projects, invoice and keep business records, keep the website secure, and meet legal and tax obligations. We contact you only about your inquiry or work you have asked us about. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
We share information only as needed to run the business:
We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
BRI Automation is an internal tool used only by BRI staff. It connects the AI assistant we use for office work, provided by a third-party AI service provider, to our own Google Workspace accounts so that routine tasks, such as searching mail, filing documents, updating spreadsheets, and scheduling, can be carried out on request. It is not offered to the public, has no customer accounts, and is not used by anyone outside BRI.
When a BRI staff member signs in with Google and approves the permissions shown on Google's consent screen, the app can read and write that signed-in user's own Gmail messages and mail settings, Google Drive files, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Calendar events. It can only reach the account of the person who signed in, and only the services that person approved.
The app acts only for the signed-in user and only to carry out the task that user asked for. Content the user chooses to work with is processed by the AI assistant during that user's own session. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than the task at hand, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties. It is handled only by the signed-in user, by Google, and by the third-party provider of the AI assistant, each under their own terms of service.
BRI Automation does not keep its own database or copies of Google user data. Information is read when a task needs it, and anything the user asks to save is stored in that user's own Google account or on that user's own computer. Google sign-in tokens are kept on the user's computer and can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page. Revoking access ends the app's ability to reach the account.
BRI Automation's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We keep inquiries, quotes, and project records for as long as they are needed for the purpose they were collected for, and afterward as required for business, tax, warranty, and legal record-keeping. If you sent us an inquiry and would like it deleted, contact us and we will remove it unless we are required to keep it.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including access controls on our business systems and encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to ask us not to contact you further. We will respond within a reasonable time. Because this website sets no tracking cookies, there are no cookie settings to manage.
This website and our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we will delete any we learn we have received.
This website may link to other websites, such as our service providers or project partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, and this policy applies only to information we collect.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version, and changes will be posted on this page.
